I give Elton John credit for putting aside the politics and putting on what I am sure was a fine performance.
I also give Limbaugh credit for doing the exact same thing that is putting aside politics. I am more surprised at him than Elton John. He has always seemed to me to be someone that cannot get past ideology.
He could have chosen Pat Boone* but he didn't.
*I should quickly google Boone to confirm that he is still alive as I don't know. I just got in from the Tiger game and a little tired so I am just going to live a little on the edge with the Pat Boone reference.

I'm fairly certain Pat Boone is still alive. Although, what a sight he must be by now. All those years. . . all that white faux leather.
