Just shut the borders completely and start throwing the illegals out. No excuses, No lawyers, No media, just start shipping them back...Plain and simple. Let the unemployed work where the illegals did.
I think geography works against us. It's a long border. Any effective "fence" would have to be of the "Great Wall" type.
