In hockey there's a penalty for "too many men on the ice" -- is there something similar in baseball?
Well yes. Nine defenders on the field only but ten players never walk out there. My son played travel hockey for over 10 years and while it doesn't look complicated, line changes can be difficult due to miscommunication and I am surprised there aren't more "too many men" penalties.
