I was in Idaho in June and walked along the rim of the Snake River Canyon, a couple miles from the launch spot, which is not accessible to the public but is visible from a good distance away. Having stood on the rim and seen how far it was to the other side, I can safely confirm that Evel Knievel was nuts.
