I bet the Sex Pistols went over well there.
They played the strangest locations for their one and only trip to the US. Memphis, Atlanta, Dallas, San Antonio, Tulsa, Baton Rouge, and finally San Francisco. I literally begged my mother for days to let me drive to San Francisco to see them. But noooooo....
We are kindred souls. I badly wanted them to play near Detroit as I would have been there but I saw that it was Southern city tour only which really made no sense as they has very little support down there. Actually, in a "Sex-Pistols" kind of way, it did kind of make sense but that didn't help me much.
