I just heard that on their first tour, Jimi was the opening act for the Monkees. That's amazing. It would be like Yo Yo Ma opening for Britney Spears.
I am pretty sure that picture was taken in my aunt Regina's basement, and Jimi certainly looks better in my uncle Stanley's shirt than my uncle ever did.
