I bet an old and curmudgeonly urban witch lives there. If not, then one should.
It is the headquarters of Anton Lavey's Church of Satan in San Francisco.
So kind of true.
Their house is a museum, where people come to see 'em.
I just googled it because I didn't know any more than my response to Debra.
It's complicated but Lavey used it as his chucrh headquarters until his 1997 death at which time it is not clear what it was being used for and then it was demolished in 2001.
Now a duplex stand there and I bet the owner got it cheap. (Though with property values in San Francisco maybe that is a naive thought)
The problem with a house painted black - you see the bird poop.
And...FYI, you do know you've got WV (that "prove you're not a robot" function) on...my eyes can't take it. Any chance of nixing it! You could always use Comment Moderation, like moi, if you want to keep the black housed demons away! *grin*

I have a peach colored house and the bird poop still shows. Maybe it is something in their diet over here.
Let me look at the comment settings thing. Frankly I have no preference as to how it's set but I went without it until about a year ago when blogger was doing some strange things (wouldn't allow me to comment on my own posts) and everybody advised me that I had to change my comment settings which would fix the problem and it did.
It seems like half of my settings are set the way they are only to avoid "blogger" bugs in the system which is a bit frustrating.
