So true. Few things are as pitiful as some of the comments I read after news stories and articles. The Internet has become a breeding ground for trolls.
At least the comment boards for sports are respectful and well thought out. "Kobe sucks" No you suck!
I have also found the bigger the board, the worse it is. The Yahoo and ESPN comment sections are worthless.
The best comments in my opinion are on well-written blogs which attract thoughtful (and respectful) people.
