I saw Rush once.
They had a little bit of a stage rush from the crowd but nothing compared to some bigger bands. Nobody assaulting Security or people passing out left and right due to the push.
Actually, I thought it made "Rush" look kind of silly.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've once had the thought, "Man, that guy from Rush is HOT." Nope, not once. Probably accounts for the "not rushing the stage" thing. Or maybe it's just me.

I used to have a Fly by Night patch on the back of denim sawn-off. I didn't even like them.
When I was a kid, the 2112 t-shirt with the guy looking at the sun was quite popular. Since Rush got zero airplay in the 2112 days, I didn't know their music. One day, I asked a 2112 t-shirt guy what they were about and he basically said "You wouldn't understand."
That killed them for me.
(Their followers are still kind of like that)
