I heard the "blue hairs" at one of our church's potlucks a few years ago got......well let's just say a little "crazy". I don't know all the details but I do know they were made to clean up ALL the silly string from the chapel; even the stuff that reached the stained glass ceilings. They blamed the punch and some brownies. I do know a whole lot of "hail marys" were said afterwards but now it is largely forgotten.
