As a kid, I remember feeling a bit "left out" because every other kid seemed to have some color belt that they had earned where I had only a buckle up belt for my little league baseball pants.
The thought for the post came a few days ago when I saw a young kid in the grocery store in his karate/kung fu (I know they are different but..) duds complete with belt which reminded me of when it was bigger (at least as I perceived it).
