There is usually an ulterior motive, you know.
Once that becomes clear, you feel like a shmuck and want to give it back.
I always refuse.

This is good advice... When I was a teenager, I saw this ad in the newspaper for penpals all across the world... my friend and signed up, little did I know it was for desperate men to find women in north america... I received a lot of sticks of gum from a lot of men in the mail... yes I said gum (along with some *ahem* pictures of apendages)... So always beware of gum!
Yes, I can see why you would then send them a plane ticket!
