Not really observed much in Mexico but very much observed here as an excuse for pale people to have another St. Patrick's Day and call each other "amigos".
Just like how people in France don't eat french fries.
Or how people in Mexico don't eat at Taco Bell.
Or how Italians don't even recognize Sbarro's as pizza.
We steal stuff from other countries and then they disavow it!
I bet the Canadians never give up "Boxing Day" though.
Well nobody is gonna steal it because nobody understands it but still.....
