More like the walking dead in that picture. Or the family from "Wrong Turn 2". Or better yet... a hillbilly family portrait!
I live in Amish Wonderland and if by chance I saw Amish like this.....this Big Kahuna would be running the other direction!
If there are Amish in Michigan, I am unaware of them.
We did stop by the Cleveland Zoo this year and were practically minorities as non-Amish people. I am exaggerating obviously but I carelessly walked right into an Amish man and he apologized to me profusely. I told him I was at fault and I was sorry. You can't generalize of course but a very nice group of people.
I almost felt guilty with the post but all in fun.
Oh they know how to have fun. Don't let the hats fool you. I have yet to meet or know an Amish man I have not liked. As for some of the women folk......razor and cream will fix that!
