This reminded me of the Warner Brothers cartoon, Ballot Box Bunny. The one with the exploding piano. It came out in 1950.
Quick research showed that it was an after thought to a Private SNAFU short, Booby Traps which came out in 1944.
A little over four minutes long, but worth it.
I gotcha. The second link does not work but I get the concept and actually probably better than what I had in mind.
I should have developed this one better. I was thinking of a sniper scoping this from a distance. After the first piano player is eliminated, the body is removed and blood cleaned away and the cycle continues with the next victim.
