Maybe it was a typo that caught on.

And don't forget Zamfir, Master of the Pan Pipe.
With this Gheorghe Zamfir guy, he has numerous misspellings in his first name and his parents did not do him any favors with their love of the letter H.
He wrote the soundtrack for the film "Picnic at Hanging Rock"? (Gulp) The guy writes execution music?
Yanni is much less threatening, I must say.
