They don't want to share him

Stephen Betts from theboot.com (country music site) reports that country music singer, Carrie Underwood will take her tour to Canada next week which is the homeland of her fiance, Mike Fisher of the Ottawa Senators.

Carrie advises that the folks in Ottawa have been nice and supportive of the couple's announced engagement but there have been some exceptions in hockey-mad Ottawa.

"A woman came up to me at the grocery store and chewed me out, telling me if I thought I was going to take Mike away from Ottawa, I had another thing coming, and she wasn't kidding," said Carrie. "She let me know she loved him and he was going to stay here period no matter what I said. She might have been kidding but she wasn't being funny."

Geez!

It's like having another set of in-laws.

Who needs that?!

Maybe she should think about this whole "marrying a Canadian hockey player" thing.

As the winner of American Idol, you kind of have your choice regarding these things and you want to be able to shop in grocery stores in peace and not being accosted and accused of stealing someone's boyfriend when the person doesn't even know him. You won American Idol after all!

Would you want to deal with that?

If it has to be a hockey player, Carrie should marry a one from the States. They don't care at all about hockey there. They like even lacrosse better.

In grocery stores, she would only have to worry about her own fans; some of which might even ask, "Who's the guy?"

When she tells them, they might even say, "Why?"

Much better if you think about it.

My ex wife is Canadian and I swear I will never marry another Canadian again. 6 years of hell and Nuff said! Once she moved down here she became a money blood sucking leech.
