Per Jeremy Burton of the (Scranton) Times Tribune, when Mary Louise Salerno was emptying out a bucket of pizza sauce at her family's pizzeria, she saw something in the saucy residue on the side of the bucket.
Something eye-opening.
Something very profound.
She saw Jesus!
No not Jesus Alou or that illegal immigrant dishwasher they fired years ago after.......well they fired him.
Jesus!
Ms. Salerno saw the image of a long-haired and bearded Jesus in the leftover sauce on that bucket. Ms. Salerno, her brother Bill Salerno and employee, Maryann Marsico all agree that this is the image of Jesus just sitting their waiting to be observed.
"My 2-year-old grandson knows who it was. He just looked at it and said, 'That's Papa Jesus.'"Ms. Marsico said.
The bucket was placed in a cooler for a while and they took a video of it and posted it on YouTube. After a while, they decided to......well wash the bucket.
Nobody really knows what Jesus looked like so modern-day literal representations of him from everyday objects are kind of problematic but who am I to judge here? If they looked further in their cooler, who knows what they would see in that bag of green peppers or that can of anchovies if they just shook them up a little. The Lord certainly moves in mysterious ways.
That said, maybe it's just me but in that picture, I see Lemmy from Motorhead.
