I remember in the 70s and 80s when European hockey first started to be seen on TV in Canada, how weird we thought it was to have advertising on the arena boards. Now it's standard here too. And now this!!!!!

Hopefully the European uniforms where the players are essentially skating billboards will not become a fixture here.
There is an ECHL team in our area, the Toledo Walleye who have had a "Wendy's" placard on their jersey. Hopefully, not a slippery slope.
