Here in Alberta, we have government bureaucrats staffing a "Rat Patrol" to keep Alberta rat free. They patrol rural areas and put down rat infestations. And of course, it is illegal to own a pet rat here.
Do urban rats get a pass?
Absolutely not. Any rat, anywhere, DEAD.
